About the role

Special Learners Therapy Center in Cauayan City, Isabela is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to join our growing team. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to our diverse client base, helping individuals improve their communication skills and achieve their personal goals. What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the specific speech, language, and communication needs of each client

• Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans to address those needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative techniques

• Providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions, working closely with clients and their families to achieve targeted goals

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and special educators, to ensure a holistic approach to client care

• Maintaining detailed client records and documenting progress throughout the therapy process

• Participating in staff meetings and professional development activities to continuously improve service delivery

What we're looking for

• A degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field

• Current licence or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Therapist in the Philippines

• At least 1 year of experience providing speech and language therapy services, preferably in an educational or clinical setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop individualised therapy plans

• Proficiency in using technology, such as therapy software and communication devices, to enhance client outcomes

• A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with speech, language, and communication challenges
