We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation or be in the process of obtaining it, with a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and proper classification of financial transactions.
  • Month-End & Year-End Closings: Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including reconciliations of bank and general ledger accounts.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist with the preparation of corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing requested documentation and explanations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for senior management.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure the accuracy and security of financial data.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Supervise accounts payable/receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and receipts.
  • Accounting Software: Maintain proficiency in accounting software and tools, ensuring accurate reporting and efficient operations.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Prepare and present financial analysis or reports as requested by management.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS in Accountancy.

  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)- 1 to 2+ years of accounting experience

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

  • Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.

  • Amenable to work in a stay-in set up.
