JOB OVERVIEW

The FP&A Analyst will support the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes of the organization. This role plays a key part in providing accurate, timely, and meaningful insights that guide business decisions.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency (including automation and formula optimization), and experience working in collaborative cloud-based environments like Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel Online, or other real-time collaboration tools

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis
• Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models and templates for business planning and performance monitoring
• Automate recurring reporting processes using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, lookup formulas, macros, etc.)
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support strategic business decisions through scenario modelling and what-if analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and align assumptions
• Consolidate inputs from multiple sources using cloud-based tools (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel Online, etc.)
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of reports and data shared with stakeholders
• Assist in maintaining documentation and audit trails for financial models and templates

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 2-3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or business analysis
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and conditional formatting)
• Experience in Excel automation, including but not limited to Power Automate and Robotic Process Automation
• Familiarity with financial statements, budgeting cycles, and forecasting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
