About the roleAIA Philippines is seeking an experienced Investment Management Principal to oversee the investment management strategy and operations for our rapidly growing funds management business. This is a full-time position based in our Makati City office, with opportunities for flexible and remote work arrangements.What you'll be doing

Daily monitoring of S/TAA of all mandates with the fund managers. Assists in the preparation of the annual SAA review to ensure that mandates are still aligned with company strategy. Responsible for ensuring that all investment activities are compliant with the IGF Standards that are set out for Investment Management.

Assists in the development, launch and registration of all new funds, and for providing investment inputs in the different product committees. Assists in the operational/investment due diligence of local and international fund managers. Responsible for the in-depth review and investment management manager performance and compliance, including proposing any corrective actions in instances of investment manager underperformance

Assists in the formulation of competitive investment portfolios and funds responsive to market needs

Assists the Investments Team in providing inputs for Investment Committee, Risk Committee and Product Committee Meetings Act as relationship manager of the different fund managers

Provide the monthly requirements of Finance in terms of investment market rates, currency quotations, and items that are related to funding operational cash requirements

Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements

What we're looking for

Significant experience in investment management, funds management or a similar role within the financial services industry

Deep understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and investment strategies

Proven track record of delivering strong investment performance and consistently achieving targets

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present investment recommendations effectively

Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulations

Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, economics or a related discipline, and professional certifications (e.g. CFA) are highly regarded
