About the Role

Ensure that the portfolios of AIA are in line with the required mandates and are compliant with the IGF requirements in terms of Investment Management. Provide support to the Head of Investment Management in product development, lifecycle management, and investment advice to internal and external stakeholders. Act as the relationship manager for all fund managers.

  1. Monitor daily S/TAA of all mandates with the fund managers.
  2. Assist in the preparation of the annual SAA review to ensure mandates align with company strategy.
  3. Ensure all investment activities comply with the IGF Standards set for Investment Management.
  4. Assist in the development, launch, and registration of new funds, providing investment inputs for product committees.
  5. Conduct operational and investment due diligence of local and international fund managers.
  6. Review and monitor investment manager performance and compliance, proposing corrective actions for underperformance.
  7. Assist in formulating competitive investment portfolios and funds responsive to market needs.
  8. Support the Investments Team with inputs for Investment, Risk, and Product Committee meetings. Act as relationship manager for fund managers.
  9. Provide monthly market rates, currency quotations, and funding-related data to Finance.
  10. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor to meet operational or other requirements.
