About the Role:

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer skilled in TypeScript for both frontend and backend development. You'll design, build, and operate modern serverless applications on AWS, working primarily across TypeScript (frontend & backend), , and AWS serverless services.

You'll collaborate closely with engineers in Australia, take ownership end-to-end, and help raise the bar on reliability, security, and speed of delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop frontend applications using TypeScript with modern frameworks ).
  • Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs using & TypeScript.
  • Build on AWS serverless stack: Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, Cognito, CloudWatch, SES, OpenSearch, Aurora RDS, Amplify.
  • Write high-quality tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jest and Cypress.
  • Contribute across the SDLC: design, coding, testing, deployment, observability, documentation, and support.
  • Participate in peer reviews, technical design discussions, and mentoring.
  • Enhance operability through logging, tracing, metrics, alarms, dashboards, and runbooks.
  • Apply secure engineering practices: least privilege, secure defaults, and privacy by design.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years with TypeScript in frontend ) and backend ) applications.
  • Strong knowledge of DynamoDB (or similar NoSQL), including data modelling and performance tuning.
  • 3+ years in a senior role with proven contributions to design, implementation quality, and testing discipline.
  • Hands-on AWS serverless experience: Lambda, Step Functions, Cognito, CloudWatch, SES, OpenSearch, Aurora, Amplify.
  • Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform; SAM a plus).
  • Solid testing background, ideally TDD, with Jest or Cypress.
  • Familiarity with microservices, event-driven, or serverless architectures.
  • Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills.
