Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs and budgets for construction projects such as roads, bridges, land development and others.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for construction projects
• Negotiate and administer subcontracts and purchase orders
• Track and analyze project costs, identifying potential savings and risks
• Prepare detailed unit cost estimates or detailed unit price analysis for projects that are for bidding and for approval prior to submission to the project proponent.
• Responsible in evaluating the direct cost estimates of newly acquired projects against the cost of actual implementation requirements as to materials, labor and equipment .
• Prepare payment details and final accounts for clients
• Provide expert advice to construction managers and other stakeholders on cost-related matters
• Collaborate with the wider project team to ensure seamless coordination and problem-solving
• Must be knowledgeable on the standard guidelines and specifications of the different government agencies such as but not limited to, DPWH, DOTr, DILG, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Preferably graduate of BS Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years quantity surveying/cost estimation in senior level, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Expertise in quantity surveying principles and practices.
• Proficiency in cost estimation and budgeting software.
• Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to address and provide solutions on financial issues in construction projects.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent english verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to be assigned in General Trias, Cavite
