We are a well-established cybersecurity company in Manila with contracts with major local enterprises. We seek a highly experienced, certified Penetration Tester to join our pool of on-site consultants. The ideal candidate will travel to client sites in Metro Manila, perform thorough penetration testing across web, mobile, API, and network environments, and present findings with practical remediation recommendations to client stakeholders. This is an ad-hoc contract role with strong potential to convert to full-time for the right candidate.

Client Requirements

  • Location: Based in Manila, Philippines; ability to travel to client sites within Metro Manila and nearby areas as required.

  • Availability: On-site engagements on an ad-hoc basis; irregular hours may apply depending on client schedules.

  • Language: Filipino, Proficient in English for reports and client presentations.

  • Compliance: Adhere to client policies, data handling, confidentiality, and local regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

  • Certifications: Active, recognized pen-test certifications (e.g., CREST, OSCP, OSCE, CISSP-ISSAP, CPT, CEH, GPEN, PCI QSA where applicable).

  • Experience: 5+ years hands-on penetration testing experience, including enterprise client engagements.

  • Technical Skills:

- Web app, API, mobile app, and network/infrastructure testing (host, cloud, containerized environments).

- Scripting and tooling: Python/PowerShell/Bash; Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Nessus/OpenVAS, etc.

- Ability to design and execute attack simulations and red-team–style activities as needed.

  • Client-Facing Skills: Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders; professional, consultative demeanor.

  • Work Style: Self-motivated, reliable, able to manage time effectively; comfortable working on-site at client locations; able to manage ad-hoc assignment flow.

Deliverables

  • Engagement plan and scope of work, including rules of engagement (ROE).

  • Periodic and final penetration testing reports with: executive summary, risk ratings, impact analysis, evidence, and remediation guidance.

  • Proof-of-concept demonstrations and evidence where appropriate.

  • Clear, prioritized remediation recommendations and client-facing remediation plan.

  • Presentation materials for client debriefs.

  • Re-test results and validation of fixes as required.

  • Compliance documentation and sign-off confirmations per client policies.
