JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a Motion Designer who's excited to grow, collaborate, and bring fresh creative ideas to our team.

This is a great role for someone with solid animation skills who wants to work closely with UI/UX designers, contribute to product and brand motion, and continue building their craft in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Create 2D animations, motion graphics, and interface animations for product demos, websites, and social content
  • Design transitions, kinetic typography, icon animations, and visual effects to support UI design concepts
  • Build storyboards and simple animatics to communicate ideas
  • Work closely with designers, strategists, and creative leads to bring concepts to life
  • Apply feedback and iterate quickly while maintaining attention to detail
  • Handle multiple smaller projects and stay organized in a remote workflow
  • Help keep our motion assets, files, and brand motion guidelines tidy and consistent

Required Experience

  • 4-7+ years of professional experience in motion design and 2D animation

Technical Skills

  • 4–7+ years of experience in motion design, 2D animation
  • Expert-level Adobe After Effects skills
  • Strong skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
  • Deep understanding of animation principles, timing, composition, and color
  • Experience adapting motion for multiple platforms and formats
  • Strong communicator who can confidently present and explain creative decisions
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and highly organized
  • Able to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Proven ability to thrive in a remote, deadline-driven environment
  • A strong portfolio showcasing 2D animation, motion graphics, typographic animation, and brand-related motion work
