Responsibilities

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal vouchers, and adjusting entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with BIR filing requirements (e.g., VAT, Withholding Tax, Income Tax Returns) and other government reportorial submissions.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit queries.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll entries, accruals, and expense reports.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for financial documents and records.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks assigned by the Finance Manager or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in General Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Financial Reporting.
  • Solid knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards and BIR compliance requirements.
  • Experience in accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and monthly closing processes.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS ExcelHigh attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Excellent in written and verbal communication skills.
