Job Summary:

The Business Analyst's main responsibility is to ensure the operational efficiency and excellence of the organization. He or she designs and documents work flow, manages and provides solutions to new business unit ideas, trends and concepts through the latest technological paths. The BA understands the customer's business requirements and business process management, and then translates them to particular software requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of the client's organization and industry

  2. Assists business process owners in documenting business processes and operating procedures

  3. Works closely with business process owners to identify required process changes based on identified problem areas or opportunities for improvement

  4. Develops business requirements in close coordination with business process owners

  5. Develops functional specifications and system design specifications of existing systems

  6. Communicates needed changes to development team

  7. Designs/creates test plans and training programs and manuals

  8. Defines test plans and test designs to ensure effective test activities

  9. Assists users in user acceptance tests

  10. Assists users in issues raised through the service desk

  11. Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner

  12. Acts as first line of resolution for and handles issues and problems that affect business processes and system maintenance

  13. Reviews modifications done to the system to ensure proper resolution of incidents and requests

  14. Prepares training materials and user manuals and facilitates user trainings as needed

  15. Consistently delivers high-quality services to clients and monitors service levels in relation to change requests, service requests, and incidents

  16. Consults on business re-engineering projects

  17. Provides end-user training as necessary

Qualifications:

  • With 1-2 years of experience
  • With excellent written and communication skills
  • Has a strong personality and very keen on details to accurately and completely capture end user requirements
  • Has strong analytical skills
  • Is knowledgeable and has experience in Microsoft Office applications, like Word, Excel, PPT, and Visio
  • Has knowledge of MS CRM Dynamics
