Purpose of the position:

The IT Manager will lead and oversee the company's technology strategy, systems, and infrastructure to support business operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This role ensures the stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems while aligning technology initiatives with business goals. The IT Manager will also drive digital transformation projects, enhance business intelligence, and support sales, supply chain, and production operations through reliable IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Recommend and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Manage IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments.

Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, networks, and servers.
  • Ensure all business applications and systems are operating efficiently to support daily operations
  • Ensure minimal downtime in production and distribution operations through proactive IT support.

Data & Security Management

  • Safeguard company data through cybersecurity measures, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Implement IT policies, procedures, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage user access, data privacy, and system security in line with corporate policies.

Business Support & Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, HR and Finance teams to provide IT solutions that improve business performance.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives such as e-commerce integration, data analytics, and process automation.
  • Train employees on systems usage and IT best practices.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management

  • Lead and develop the IT support team, ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Manage external IT vendors, service providers, and consultants.
  • Negotiate contracts and evaluate vendor performance.

Design, implementation, and management of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure

  • Mastery on DevOps Technology especially Azure Cloud.
  • Mastery in .Net Programming, SQL database
  • Implementing containerization with Docker and Kubernetes for scalable application deployments.
  • Integrating security checks into the CI/CD pipeline for consistent security throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment using tools like GitHub CI.
  • Implementing monitoring and logging solutions for tracking cloud infrastructure performance and security.
  • Documenting DevOps processes and sharing knowledge with the team.

Qualifications, knowledge, skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience as IT Manager or similar leadership role in FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
  • Experience in managing IT infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
