About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Sydenham Laboratories, Inc. in Dasmarinas City, Cavite. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. This is a full-time position that will have you leading a team of dedicated production workers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to ensure all manufacturing processes are completed on time and to the required standards
  2. Monitor production outputs, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  3. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production environment
  4. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to production team members
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Maintenance, to optimize production workflows
  6. Analyze production data and generate reports to track key performance indicators
  7. Contribute to the development and implementation of production plans and strategies

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment
  2. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  3. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills
  4. Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and develop a team of production workers
  5. Proficient in interpreting and analyzing production data and generating insightful reports
  6. Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
