A day to day life as a Sourcing Associate:

Candidate Sourcing: Proactively search and identify top talent through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and databases.

Database Management: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates by regularly updating and managing the candidate database.

Resume Screening: Pre-screen resumes and applications to ensure alignment with the job requirements and shortlist potential candidates for the recruiting team.

Job Market Research: Conduct research to identify new candidate pools, trends, and sourcing strategies.

Collaboration: Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand job requirements and candidate profiles.

Outreach: Conduct outreach to passive candidates through emails, phone calls, and other communication methods to generate interest in available opportunities.

Candidate Engagement: Keep candidates engaged and informed throughout the hiring process by maintaining clear and professional communication.

Table Stakes:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).

Previous experience in sourcing, recruiting, or a similar role.

Skills:

  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with sourcing platforms and tools (LinkedIn, job boards, ATS, etc).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
