Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on hull structures, welds, and materials based on approved drawings and standards.
  • Verify compliance with classification society and project specifications.
  • Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records in line with QA/QC procedures.
  • Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support welding procedure qualifications, welder performance tests, and NDT coordination.
  • Promote continuous improvement and adherence to safety and quality management systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in shipyard or heavy steel fabrication QA/QC work.
  • Familiarity with ISO, AWS, or IACS standards.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
