Position Overview

We are seeking a
QA Tester
to join our
EOMS Rapid Software Development Program
, focusing on a
Web Accounting System
project. The ideal candidate should have a hands-on experience testing web-based financial and accounting systems, ensuring quality, accuracy, and performance across all development stages.

This role will involve collaborating with developers, analysts, and project managers to verify system functionality, identify issues, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the Web Accounting System.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on web applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using GitHub or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and analysts to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) in coordination with project stakeholders.
  • Ensure test coverage for features related to accounting, invoicing, contract management, and financial reporting systems.
  • Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies to provide quality input and feedback.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation testing frameworks when applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 2 years of experience
    testing or developing
    web-based systems
    in the following domains:
  • Accounting Systems
  • Financial Systems
  • Invoice Management Systems
  • Accounts Payable Systems
  • Contract Management Systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Jest, Playwright).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
