About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead and manage our client's accounting operations, fund management, and financial reporting. You will oversee fund operations, cash and liquidity management, financial analysis, and compliance—ensuring accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Effective cash flow and liquidity management
  • Accurate financial data entry, reconciliations, and investor allocations
  • Insightful financial dashboards and performance reporting

Key Responsibilities

1. Cash & Liquidity Management

  • Monitor daily cash positions and forecast short/long-term requirements
  • Optimize liquidity, minimize idle funds, and ensure timely funding
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and advise on risk-optimized strategies
  • Maximize utilization of credit lines; monitor and report compliance

2. Cash Flow Forecasting

  • Create precise cash flow forecasts to support strategic planning
  • Analyze forecast vs. actual variances and recommend corrective actions

3. Fund & Financial Reporting

  • Liaise with Fund Administrators, ensuring timely deliverables and KPI tracking
  • Review NAV packs, financial statements, and reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate monthly investor statements and portfolio updates
  • Manage loan funding instructions, portfolio monitoring, and investor returns
  • Prepare dashboards and analytical reports for senior management

4. Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Develop and enforce fund accounting policies and SOPs
  • Identify process optimization opportunities and implement automation tools
  • Lead fund-related projects to enhance efficiency and scalability

5. Risk Management & Compliance

  • Identify and mitigate financial, credit, FX, and interest rate risks
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and contractual obligations
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (fund accounting experience preferred)
  • CPA certification strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of fund operations, investor reporting, and cash management
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
  • Experience in US-based financial processes is a plus
