Position Overview:

We are looking for a remote, full-time HR Coordinator with a heavy focus on Communications & Credentialing. The ideal candidate will provide front desk coverage and manage credentialing processes for home health therapists, including PT/PTA, OTR/L/COTA, and SLP/CCC professionals. This role requires proficiency in various software systems (training provided) and a strong background in healthcare and clinician credentialing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front desk coverage, managing a high volume of incoming calls using RingCentral call routing and management systems.
  • Deliver excellent customer service through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage and process initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications for clinicians.
  • Verify and maintain credentials, licenses, and certifications using software such as Cliniconnects, TherapySync, NPDB, AHCA, OIG, and other licensed government websites.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation of new clinicians, ensuring all credentialing requirements are met.
  • Handle inquiries related to credentialing and provide support to clinicians and internal staff.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in home health or healthcare settings is required.
  • Strong background in clinician credentialing and knowledge of Medicare guidelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a reliable main internet connection (prepaid is not allowed) and power backups.
  • Must have their own laptop/desktop.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with medical office administration.
  • Familiarity with basic medical terminology.
