The Dispatcher – Kitchen Operations is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the flow of customer orders from the kitchen to delivery or pickup. This role ensures that all orders are prepared, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time. The dispatcher works closely with kitchen staff, riders, and third-party delivery partners to maintain smooth operations and excellent customer service. The position also involves handling order documentation, monitoring inventory movement, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Record all sales accurately using the kitchen's Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Make sure every order has an official receipt.
  • Keep track of product availability by updating inventory in Alfred and other platforms or devices.
  • Help with simple food preparation when needed.
  • Do basic administrative tasks to support daily operations.

Additional Tasks

  • Work closely with Line Cooks and Stockmen to check item availability and stock levels.
  • Keep your workstation fully functional — ensure the computer, tablet, internet, and printers are all working properly.
  • Organize and safely store receipts; keep your workspace clean and tidy.
  • Help with dispatching orders, especially for Mart deliveries.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation rules; make sure the kitchen stays clean and safe.
  • Ensure all team members follow the CQSMA standards: Cleanliness, Quality, Service, Maintenance, and Atmosphere.
  • Do other related tasks as assigned by management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy and completeness of issued receipts.
  • Timely reporting of cancelled or voided receipts.
  • Faster cooking and order processing through better coordination.
  • Improved sales and transaction volume from better efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a cashier in a fast-food or quick-service setting.
  • Skilled in using POS systems.
  • Knowledgeable in dispatch operations, receipt handling, and order processing tools.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules (6 days a week).
