Chemical Technician

Job Description:
- Multi-tasking activities are being practiced, but the main function of duty is to monitor and maintain plant operations (Sulfonation / Sulfation).
- Is expected to do field expertise during Plant Maintenance period
- Assists in start-up, shutdown and cleaning procedures of sulfonation units.
- Coordinate with Control Room Operators, Supervisors and Maintenance Personnel in case of deviations or equipment issues
- Participate in maintenance and equipment inspections activities when required
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE, chemical handling and emergency response procedures
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Graduate from any Technical course related to the field of Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical Technology, etc.)
- Familiar with rotating equipment maintenance and its operations principles
- Ability to work on rotating shifts and in-high temperature, high-pressure production environment
- Computer literate and able to record data accurately and legibly.
