Core Responsibilities
Transactional Finance

• Process and reconcile bank accounts and credit cards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage accounts payable: process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, and prepare payments.
• Manage accounts receivable: monitor collections and maintain effective credit control.
• Process and review employee expense claims in accordance with company policy.

Accounting & Controls

• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, ensuring correct capitalisation, depreciation, and disposals.
• Prepare and support monthly journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the month-end close.
• Assist with maintaining strong financial controls and supporting documentation to meet audit and compliance requirements.

Systems & Process Improvement

• Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of finance systems and automation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve transactional processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Reporting & Support

• Support the preparation of month-end and ad hoc financial reports.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and administrative support to the Finance Manager and broader finance team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent) preferred.
• 3-6 years of experience in accounting, with strong exposure to transactional finance and controls.
• Experience in SaaS, technology, or other fast-paced industries advantageous.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems.
• High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Process-oriented mindset with a passion for improving efficiency and accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively across teams.

Additional Notes:

• Hybrid set up- Makati,PH, 2x per week
• 8am to 5pm AEST (5am or 6am PH to 2pm or 3pm PH), Mon to Fri
