Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer (Level 3) to serve as the final escalation point for complex technical issues. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset to ensure optimal performance and reliability across client systems. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, supporting critical infrastructure and contributing to continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Incident Response & Troubleshooting

  • Analyze and resolve alerts from monitoring systems.
  • Address hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Respond to emergency outages following client-specific escalation protocols.

System & Security Maintenance

  • Apply security patches and updates as directed by the security team.
  • Perform system upgrades, including server OS and firmware.
  • Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.

Deployment & Configuration

  • Support remote deployments, including software installations and system setups.
  • Participate in scheduled after-hours changes to minimize client impact.

Virtualization & Networking

  • Maintain and troubleshoot VMware environments.
  • Configure and manage VPNs, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and routing protocols.

Documentation & Communication

  • Log resolutions and procedures in the ticketing system.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation tailored to client environments.
  • Translate complex technical issues into clear, non-technical language.

Process Improvement

  • Propose enhancements to support workflows and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Server, Active Directory, and related services.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware hypervisors.
  • Skilled in Microsoft 365 and Entra administration.
  • Knowledgeable in vulnerability assessment and remediation practices.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and time-management capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative team player.

Job Requirements

  • Willingness to work long-term in a remote setup.
