JOB SPECIFICATION:

EDUCATION: Preferably a Civil Engineering and/or BS Architecture graduate or any related course Must be proficient in AutoCad, 3D and Microsoft Office Software.

EXPERIENCE: With at least one (1) year experience in technical drafting or design, cost estimates, and CAD. Well versed in Technical drawing interpretation and has knowledge in furniture designing.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Receives Sales Order (SO), Job Order (JO), Action Request Form (ARF), Non-Conformance Order (NCO), Technical Specifications, Take-Off Sheets, Drawings and Details, and Colour-Coded Plans from the Supervisor, and acts on the request upon endorsement.

  2. Coordinates with the Technical Specialist of Technical Planning & Design Department (TPDD), Technical Specialists, or from the Supervisor regarding clarifications, lacking information, or design/specification changes. Issues Internal Feedback Reports for any discrepancies found.

  3. Prepares Material Estimates, Material Summaries, and Work Orders based on approved SO/JO, Technical Specifications, Take-Off Sheets, and Drawings. Ensures accuracy of all specifications.

  4. Prepares detailed shop drawings and other technical drawing requests required for Production.

  5. Updates detailed/shop drawings and specifications whenever there are confirmed and approved design or specification changes.

  6. Issues the latest revised drawings and Work Orders to Production based on the most recent SO/JO or ARF received through PPC.

  7. Prepares product costing for new products or parts as instructed by the PDTD/R & D Head or Supervisor.

  8. Coordinates with TPDD (Makati) regarding drawings, specifications, cost estimates, required materials, and processes related to prototypes or mock-up products.

  9. Maintains updated records of approved MBOMs, Work Orders, product cost estimates, and technical shop drawings in accordance with the Control of Quality Records Operating Procedure.

  10. Identifies and records problems related to products, processes, or quality systems, and prepares Action Logs for submission to the Supervisor or Head.
