Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees (hardware, software, and network issues)
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
- Monitor and maintain network systems and internet connectivity
- Assist in system updates, backups, and basic cybersecurity measures
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems in a timely manner
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers when needed
- Follow IT policies, procedures, and security standards
- Perform other IT-related tasks assigned by the IT Head or Supervisor
IT Staff – QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Vocational or associate degree in IT is acceptable for entry-level roles
Experience
- With or without experience (fresh graduates are welcome)
- Experience in IT support or helpdesk is an advantage
Skills and Competencies
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, basic Linux knowledge is an advantage)
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new technologies
Technical Skills
- MS Office and basic system applications
- Basic network configuration and maintenance
- Knowledge of antivirus and basic cybersecurity practices
Personal Attributes
- Patient, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willing to work overtime or shifting schedules if required
