Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to employees (hardware, software, and network issues)
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
  • Monitor and maintain network systems and internet connectivity
  • Assist in system updates, backups, and basic cybersecurity measures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems in a timely manner
  • Maintain IT inventory and documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers when needed
  • Follow IT policies, procedures, and security standards
  • Perform other IT-related tasks assigned by the IT Head or Supervisor

IT Staff – QualificationsEducation

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Vocational or associate degree in IT is acceptable for entry-level roles

Experience

  • With or without experience (fresh graduates are welcome)
  • Experience in IT support or helpdesk is an advantage

Skills and Competencies

  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, basic Linux knowledge is an advantage)
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn new technologies

Technical Skills

  • MS Office and basic system applications
  • Basic network configuration and maintenance
  • Knowledge of antivirus and basic cybersecurity practices

Personal Attributes

  • Patient, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Willing to work overtime or shifting schedules if required
