Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily operations at our SM Bacolod. The ideal candidate is a passionate leader with a strong background in cosmetics retail, team development, customer engagement, and sales performance. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, maintaining brand standards, and creating an exceptional in-store experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales and Customer Service

  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs (key performance indicators).
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Analyze sales trends and take actions to improve performance.
  • Implement promotions and upselling strategies.

2. Staff Management

  • Hire, train, and supervise store staff.
  • Schedule shifts and manage attendance.
  • Motivate and coach employees for better performance.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback.

3. Inventory and Stock Control

  • Oversee inventory levels and reorder products as needed.
  • Prevent stock loss through theft prevention, audits, and proper storage.
  • Ensure accurate stock receiving and returns process.
  • Organize stockroom and sales floor efficiently.

4. Store Operations

  • Open and close the store as per company policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Ensure equipment and systems (e.g., POS, security) are functioning properly.
  • Implement operational procedures and compliance measures.

5. Financial Management

  • Handle petty cash, banking, and daily reconciliation.
  • Report sales, revenue, and financial performance to head office.

6. Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local laws (e.g., labor, health & safety).
  • Monitor risk and security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control).

7. Reporting and Communication

  • Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Communicate with Head Office managers, suppliers, and corporate teams.
  • Address internal and external queries efficiently.

8. Customer Engagement and Marketing

  • Support local marketing campaigns and community engagement.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in cosmetics, beauty, or fashion.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales goals and managing teams effectively.
  • Experience with POS systems, inventory control, and CRM tools.
