What is your mission?

We are looking for a highly skilled US AR Accountant to manage general ledger activities, lead AR-heavy functions, and oversee month-end close for a fast-growing global business. You will handle e-commerce reconciliations (Shopify, Amazon), ensure US GAAP compliance, support NetSuite implementation, and improve financial accuracy and efficiency. Perfect for candidates experienced in high-volume accounting environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Perform timely and accurate balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), with strong emphasis on AR.
  • Track and reconcile sales across B2C platforms (Shopify, Amazon Seller Central) and B2B partners (Target, Walmart, Costco).
  • Maintain the general ledger and support production of accurate financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
  • Support ERP implementation (Oracle NetSuite), including data migration and reporting setup.
  • Assist with audits, tax documentation, and ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Identify and execute process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency within the accounting workflow.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and CPA certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Strong, hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and familiarity with AP processes.
  • Solid working knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Experience in e-commerce accounting, preferably with Shopify and Amazon Seller Central.
  • Background in retail, consumer products, or e-commerce accounting preferred.
  • Proven track record working in or with a US subsidiary of a global company.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
  • Proficiency with ERP systems—NetSuite strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php60, Php90,000.00 per month
