Position Overview:

The Interior Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and executing the interior design plans based on the clients' needs to create aesthetic, safe, and functional interior areas.

This role involves collaborating with clients, engineers, architects, and project managers to properly conceptualize plans, specifications, and documents that guide the interior design process and ensure the successful execution of the design plan based on the client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Development:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project objectives, translating these requirements into innovative and practical interior design plans.
  • Develop conceptual designs, sketches, and renderings to communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other design tools to create detailed drawings, and interior design plans.
  • Review and revise drawings, plans, and documents based on feedback from clients, engineers, architects, and other project team members.
  • Researching industry trends, changes, and best practices and apply it to the projects when necessary

Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate the execution of interior design plans according to established timelines, budgets, needs, and quality standards.
  • Participate in project meetings, site visits, and construction inspections to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
  • Provide clarification and guidance to construction teams regarding interior details, materials, and construction methods during the building phase.

Client Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and soliciting feedback throughout the design and construction process.
  • Present design proposals, progress reports, and project deliverables to clients in a clear, professional manner, fostering positive relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Manage client expectations and prioritize their needs while balancing project constraints and design objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A bachelor's degree in Interior Designing from an accredited institution
  • A license in Interior Designing is an advantage
  • At least 2-3 years of proven working experience in interior designing (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)
  • Experience in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs is a must
  • Knowledge in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and other related aspects of interior designing
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and resolve any issues regarding operation and delay
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and project management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php28,000.00 per month
