Job Overview:

TheAssistant Vice President – Engineeringis responsible for overseeing and leading large-scale construction projects from planning to completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The AVP will provide strategic leadership, manage cross-functional teams, liaise with clients, and drive operational excellence in construction management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of construction projects across multiple sites.
  • Develop and implement engineering and construction management strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and local building codes.
  • Manage and mentor project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure performance and professional development.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and government agencies.
  • Establish project KPIs and conduct regular reviews to monitor progress, risks, and quality assurance.
  • Drive innovation in construction technologies, sustainable practices, and process improvement.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, cost analyses, and project updates to executive management and stakeholders.
  • Foster strong client and stakeholder relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Job Qualifications:

  • Licensed Civil Engineer or Licensed Architect
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in construction management, with at least 8-10 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies, project management tools, and contract administration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (Primavera, MS Project, etc.) and construction-related systems.
  • Knowledge of risk management, cost control, and quality assurance processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php150, Php200,000.00 per month
