Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in a large-scale Network Operations environment (managing 1,000+ devices), with a Level 2 NOC Engineer role or higher.
  • Deep technical expertise in managing and supporting enterprise-grade security and networking devices:
  • CheckPoint Firewalls – Advanced rule base management, NAT, URL filtering, IPS, and other blade configurations.
  • Zscaler Internet Access / Bluecoat ProxySG – Troubleshooting SSL inspection, certificate validation, and access issues.
  • F5 (APM, LTM, GTM) – End-to-end configuration and issue resolution.
  • Routing & Switching – Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, PIM, GRE, VRF, STP, VPC, and EtherChannel.
  • VPN Technologies – Configuration and troubleshooting of IPSec VPNs across firewalls, routers, and interoperable platforms.
  • Cisco & Nexus Platforms – ISR 4K, ASR, and Nexus (9K, 7K, 5K, 2K) device management.
  • Proficient in:
  • Citrix SD-WAN – Deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Forescout NAC – Policy setup and incident response.
  • Enterprise Wireless Solutions – Cisco and Aruba WLAN configuration and issue handling.
  • Additional Skills:
  • Packet analysis (Wireshark, TCP dump).
  • McAfee NSM and IPS sensor support.
  • Cisco ISE / ACS administration.
  • HP Network Automation (HPNA) tool management.
  • Microsoft Azure networking – VNet peering, NSGs, ExpressRoute.

Job Description:

As a Senior Network & Security Operations Engineer, you will:

  • Lead the configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of core network security appliances, including CheckPoint Firewalls, Zscaler/Bluecoat proxies, and F5 load balancers.
  • Maintain robust and scalable enterprise routing and switching environments using Cisco and Nexus platforms.
  • Support and manage Citrix SD-WAN, Forescout NAC policies, and wireless infrastructures (Cisco and Aruba).
  • Conduct deep-dive packet analysis to identify and resolve complex network or security issues.
  • Provide operational support for McAfee NSM, Cisco ISE/ACS, and HPNA tools.
  • Manage Azure cloud networking components, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity (VNET peering, NSGs, ExpressRoute).
  • Uphold network compliance standards, oversee configuration integrity, and lead change management initiatives.
  • Mentor junior engineers and act as a technical escalation point within the team.
