Job Summary

To provide on-the-floor response of operational issues; working with engineering team and production for immediate responses to deviations on the Electrical/Mechanical discipline.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of various utilities, including but not limited to electrical systems, transformers, generator sets, HVAC, water treatment plants, and boilers.
  • Ensure strict adherence to maintenance schedules and timely completion of activities.
  • Properly manage and use inventory parts to prevent service interruptions.
  • Follow safety and food engineering design guidelines in accordance with FSSC, GMP, IMS, QEHS, and general housekeeping (6S).
  • Manage and control the calibration of assigned measuring instruments.
  • Obtain necessary certifications as required by the company.
  • Be willing to work in shifts as assigned.
  • Update records and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to directly affect productivity.
  • Adhere to safety, environmental, and audit compliance objectives.

Job Skills:

  • High level of integrity and ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Experience with root cause analysis for timely repair and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Proficiency in reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to participate in problem-solving and day-to-day technical operational activities.

Qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge or vocational graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanics.
  • At least one year of experience as a utilities technician in a food or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific machinery
