About the Role

You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, including automated and manual testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. Collaborating with development teams, you will identify and resolve software issues, implement robust testing frameworks, and continuously enhance testing processes to meet functional and non-functional requirements.

What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools

• Perform manual testing when necessary to support automated test coverage

• Collaborate with development teams to identify potential issues, improve software quality, and streamline testing processes

• Execute functional, regression, performance, and security tests to ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements

• Report, document, and track software defects in a clear and detailed manner

• Continuously improve testing practices, tools, and processes

• Analyze system requirements and provide input on testability, test coverage, and quality standards

• Review application documentation to ensure alignment with test cases and testing standards

• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and trends to improve the testing process

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a strong track record in delivering high-quality software products.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, PHP, JavaScript, or similar, with experience in developing and maintaining automated tests.

• Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, functional, regression, performance, and security testing

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment

• Experience with mobile app testing (iOS/Android) is a plus

• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman
