Accounts Receivable Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong math, typing, and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation before payment
  • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollected amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
  • Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail.
  • Prepare analytical and ratio analysis relevant to A/R so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing
  • Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management, and cost accounting.
