Job Overview

The Carrier Compliance Specialist screens, onboards, monitor transportation service providers within the company's carrier network and verify compliance internally to established criteria that meet or exceed the regulations and laws that govern transportation throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Responsibilities:

  • Screen and onboard new carriers
  • Monitor existing carriers
  • Examine and save all required carrier compliance documentation
  • Apply or update applicable carrier information
  • Routinely review carriers for changes in safety information, licensure, insurance, and other relevant information
  • Approve, reject, or limit carriers based on analysis of documentation, internal policies, and other industry information - notify appropriate parties of decision when applicable
  • Escalate issues to management when unsure how to proceed
  • Ensure continuous efforts to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service both internally and externally
  • Maintain an operational awareness of the rules, regulations, and laws that govern commercial transportation throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico
  • Other duties as assigned based on business need

Qualification:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient with Google Workspace
  • Ability to identify and solve problems, perform under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Work with little or no supervision, and work well in a team setting
  • Excellent communication, time management, and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to assist in the development, documentation, and implementation of efficient procedures and best practices
  • Knowledge of TMS and carrier onboarding platform is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php35,000.00 per month
