We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Lead Tax Accountant to manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance and reporting. The successful candidate will lead a team of Tax Accountants and collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant filing of all local and national tax obligations. This role is critical in supporting the company's financial integrity and regulatory compliance, while also identifying opportunities for tax savings and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and supervise the team of Tax Accountants to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all tax-related processes. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and alphalists (ARF, EWT, FWT, WVAT, FBT, VAT, ITR), based on schedules provided by General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP) teams, for review and approval.

Reconcile tax returns against accounting records and coordinate with Financial Accountants to resolve discrepancies. Coordinate with the Treasury department for timely and accurate payment of taxes via e-payment or manual checks. Handle the submission of annual information returns and associated alphalists to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

Manage the annual submission of computerized books of accounts and other required accounting records to the BIR.Oversee the annual renewal of business permits and declaration of gross receipts for Local Business Tax (LBT) compliance. Prepare Tax Verification Sheets for transactions involving foreign vendors. Support BIR tax audits by preparing timely and accurate documentation and reconciliations.

Identify and recommend opportunities for tax incentives, credits, and refunds to optimize tax expenses. Provide assistance in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required. At least 7 years of relevant tax experience, with minimum 5 years in a supervisory role. Proficient in accounting and tax systems, preferably SAP and NetSuite.

Strong understanding of tax laws, statutory reporting requirements, and BIR regulations. Up-to-date knowledge of BIR issuances, memorandums, and court rulings. Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to work across departments. Seniority level
