The Role

We're looking for a QA Lead to own and scale our quality assurance efforts across web, mobile, and backend systems. You'll define QA strategy, lead testing initiatives, and partner closely with Product and Engineering to ensure high-quality releases as we grow.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, process-driven, and excited to build QA foundations in a fast-moving startup environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead Muvr's QA strategy, processes, and best practices
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation
  • Drive manual and automated testing across web, mobile, APIs, and backend services
  • Own QA sign-off and quality gates for product releases
  • Track, triage, and prioritize defects in collaboration with Engineering and Product
  • Build and expand test automation to improve coverage and release confidence
  • Mentor and guide QA engineers; support team growth and performance
  • Establish and monitor quality metrics to continuously improve product quality
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
  • 1–2+ years of experience in a QA Lead, Senior QA, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum processes
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools
  • Experience testing web and/or mobile applications and APIs
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in deployment workflows
  • Background in logistics, marketplaces, or on-demand platforms
  • Performance, load, or security testing experience
  • Startup or high-growth company experience
