POSITION SUMMARY

A Kitchen Helper/Steward assists in the smooth operation of a kitchen by performing tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, and organizing supplies. They support chefs and cooks by ensuring the kitchen is clean, ingredients are prepped, and equipment is ready for use.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients for recipes.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing food supplies.
  • Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper food handling practices and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Helping with meal service tasks, such as setting tables, preparing plates, and assisting with serving customers.
  • Assisting with inventory control by tracking food supplies and ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked.
  • Possessing a basic understanding of culinary terms, cooking techniques, and food safety procedures.
  • Working effectively as part of a kitchen team and communicating clearly with chefs and other staff members.
  • Being able to stand for extended periods and lift and carry objects, as required for kitchen tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Job Requirements

Education

  • Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in F&B

Work experience

  • At least 2 years experience
  • Safe Food Handling Certification.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php18, Php19,000.00 per month
