Job Summary:

The Gardener is responsible for the maintenance and care of gardens, landscapes, and green spaces within the household premises. This includes planting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and ensuring the overall health and aesthetics of plants and outdoor areas.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas by mowing, trimming, weeding, and watering.
  • Plant and transplant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation.
  • Prune and shape plants to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
  • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments as needed.
  • Monitor plant health and identify signs of disease or pest infestation.
  • Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of outdoor areas.
  • Collaborate with housekeepers or facilities teams for seasonal landscaping projects.
  • Follow safety protocols and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience as a gardener or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and landscaping techniques.
  • Ability to operate gardening tools and machinery safely.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for nature and aesthetics.

Preferred Skills:
  • Basic understanding of irrigation systems.
  • Familiarity with organic gardening practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
