Job Description

As an Admissions Advisor, you'll process applications, guide students and agents, and ensure admissions procedures run smoothly. You'll manage documentation, liaise with universities, and maintain strong relationships while upholding compliance and safeguarding standards.

The Qualifications We Seek

Essential

  • Legal status: Eligibility to work in the Philippines
  • Education/qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience/skills:
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment
  • Experience in a busy administration department
  • Extremely high attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Flexibility and willingness to undertake and learn new tasks
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with colleagues and customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Positive attitudes and behaviors - seek solutions
  • Good team player with the ability to act under instruction with limited supervision

Desirable

  • A relevant degree and/or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Three years' experience working for a Higher Education provider
  • In-depth knowledge of the criteria and procedures for application process
  • Three years' experience working in student admissions/student services area
  • Knowledge of the education systems in other countries
  • Use of Salesforce or another similar application management system
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime if required

Your Daily Tasks

Application Processing

  • Assess and process student applications accurately and efficiently, delivering the highest levels of customer care while meeting strict response deadlines.

Confirmation Handling

  • Liaise with university admissions teams to manage the issuance of confirmations.

Student/Agent Guidance

  • Provide detailed advice on educational pathways and the application process.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, agents, students, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth admission processes.

Enquiry Response

  • Respond to admissions-related enquiries promptly through various communication channels.

Legislative Compliance

  • Under guidance from the Admissions Supervisor, maintain and apply knowledge of legislative policies related to international students.

Other Duties

  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by the Admissions Supervisor.
