JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Financial Analysis
- Assist in developing financial models to support business cases for new projects or initiatives.
- Help manage the company's cash flow, ie. preparing regular cash flow statements and forecasts to ensure operational liquidity in close coordination with the AP Team
2. Financial Operations & Controllership
- Oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure the timely and accurate closing of the books on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Manage the company's treasury functions and maintain positive relationships with banking partners.
- Act as the system administrator for NetSuite, ensuring proper Segregation of Duties (SOD) functions are implemented and consistently maintained in the Accounting System
3. Regulatory Compliance & Tax Management
- Ensure full compliance with all statutory reporting and remittance requirements for national and local government agencies, including the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG Fund.
- Manage all tax planning and compliance activities, including the accurate and timely preparation and filing of all tax returns (e.g., VAT, Withholding Taxes, Annual Income Tax Return).
- Serve as the primary point of contact and manage the relationship with the external auditor
- Oversee the timely renewal of all necessary business permits and licenses with the local government unit (LGU).
- Stay abreast of new BIR issuances, SEC circulars, and other changes in regulations to ensure proactive compliance and mitigate potential risks.
4. Reporting & Business Partnership
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
- Communicate financial results and insights clearly to non-financial managers to support their decision-making.
- Partner with various departments to provide financial support, analyze costs, and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
5. Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and mentor the finance and accounting staff, promoting a culture of accuracy, accountability, and professional growth.
- Set clear objectives for the team, delegate tasks effectively, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Streamline accounting and finance processes to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Graduate of a Bachelor's degree and or with postgraduate degree.
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)in the Philippines.
- At least 5-7 years of total experience in accounting and finance.
- At least 2-3 years in a supervisory role (e.g., Accounting Supervisor, Finance Team Lead).
- Knowledge in PFRS, Philippine tax regulations, and compliance standards.
- Skills in accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP Business One, NetSuite).
- Skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to handle organizational projects/ initiatives.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php80, Php100,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
