Construction Manager
Job Summary:

The Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and on budget. This role involves managing subcontractors, supervising site personnel, ensuring quality control, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Construction Manager acts as the key point of contact between the project management team and the site.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all construction site activities to meet project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain the construction schedule, ensuring critical milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Supervise and direct contractors, subcontractors, and construction crews.
  • Manage site logistics, resource allocation, and equipment deployment.
  • Enforce Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, delays, or issues that may impact the construction schedule.
  • Lead site meetings with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders; oversee testing, inspections, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM tools).
  • Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and quality control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
