Jr. Quantity Surveyor

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQs) for housing and apartment projects.
• Support in tender preparation, bid analysis, and appointment of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conduct site measurements and help with the valuation of work done (interim and final accounts).
• Track project budgets, monitor expenditures, and report on cost variances.
• Support the preparation and management of contracts, including handling variations, claims, and payment applications.
• Assist with procurement of materials and subcontract services in line with budget and timeline requirements.
• Liaise with architects, site engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather data and ensure smooth project progress.
• Help maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including records for audits and compliance.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify work progress and ensure accurate cost reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (essential).
• At least 1 year of experience in a quantity surveying or cost management role
• Basic knowledge of residential construction processes, materials, and typical project timelines.
• Familiarity with cost estimating software, MS Excel, and construction drawings (AutoCAD or similar).
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational and documentation abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php23,000.00 per month
