Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery.
  • Diagnose mechanical faults using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical systems.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
  • Use hand and power tools proficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment.
  • Ensure mechanical systems comply with safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve technical issues.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Participate in preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct tests on repaired equipment to verify functionality and performance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and mechanical tools.
