About the role

As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient transportation of petroleum products across our distribution network.

What you'll be doing

  1. Safely operate and manoeuvre a tank truck to transport a variety of petroleum products to various distribution sites
  2. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition
  3. Adhere to all applicable transportation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
  4. Maintain detailed logs of driving activities, deliveries, and any incidents
  5. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other stakeholders
  6. Assist with loading and unloading operations as required
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of transportation processes and safety standards

What we're looking for

  1. Valid driver's licence with a tank endorsement and a clean driving record
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience operating tank trucks or similar heavy vehicles
  3. Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, safety best practices, and emergency procedures
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  6. Physically fit to perform the duties of the role, including the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy equipment
  7. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required
