Position Overview:An Account Officer is responsible for maintaining relationships with dealerships, managing portfolio and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring timely loan repayments, soliciting new accounts, and evaluating loan applications. This role is critical to driving business growth while managing risks and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

The position will be a satellite office of Kalibo on work from home and regular dealer/client visitations, and will be reporting to the Branch Manager of Kalibo Branch. The account officer will also be physically reporting to the office in Kalibo either once or twice a month or as required by the Branch Manager..

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Dealer and Agent Relationship Management:

  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with Dealers and Agents.

  3. Provide excellent customer service and act as a point of contact for inquiries and support.
  4. Client Relationship Management:

  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financing needs.

  6. Provide excellent customer service and act as a point of contact for inquiries and support.
  7. Loan Application Processing:

  8. Evaluate and assess loan applications, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with policies.

  9. Conduct credit investigations and financial analysis to determine client eligibility.
  10. Recommend loan approvals or rejections based on assessments.
  11. Portfolio Management:

  12. Monitor assigned accounts to ensure timely repayments and mitigate risks of delinquency.

  13. Follow up with clients on overdue accounts and implement collection strategies if necessary.
  14. Maintain detailed records of account performance and loan status.
  15. Business Development:

  16. Identify and acquire new clients through referrals, marketing activities, and networking.

  17. Present financing solutions tailored to client needs and promote company products and services.
  18. Risk Management and Compliance:

  19. Ensure adherence to company credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  20. Identify and report potential risks in client accounts to management.

  21. Reporting and Documentation:

  22. Prepare and submit regular reports on account status, loan performance, and collections.

  23. Maintain accurate and updated records of all client interactions and transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in banking, finance, or credit operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of local financing regulations and credit risk management is an advantage.
  • Able to drive a car/motorcycle. Must have a driver's license
