Job Qualifications:

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS


• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field


• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not required


• Additional training in financial management or corporate planning is an advantage

EXPERIENCE


• 7–12 years experience in Accounting/Finance roles


• Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity


• Experience in trading, distribution, FMCG, or importation is a strong plus


• Strong background in:


• Financial reporting


• Budgeting


• Cash flow management


• Costing


• Inventory / COGS


• Compliance


• Tax


• Audit coordination


• Bank handling and treasury

TECHNICAL SKILLS


• Solid knowledge of:


• Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS/PFRS)


• BIR compliance and tax reporting


• Inventory costing and landed cost computation


• Financial modelling and budgeting


• Accounts payable / receivables processes


• Treasury and banking transactions


• Audit preparation (internal + external)


• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems


• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, or equivalent) preferred

• Excellent leadership and team management skills


• High attention to detail and accuracy


• Strong communication skills (reports, presentations, explaining numbers)

• Oversee day-to-day Finance & Accounting operations


• Review monthly financial statements and management reports


• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury


• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts


• Oversee cost accounting, landed cost validation, and inventory reconciliation


• Ensure timely tax compliance and filings


• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities


• Coordinate with external auditors


• Strengthen internal controls and financial processes


• Provide financial analysis to management for decision-making


• Supervise accounting team members
