Job Summary:

The Encoder is responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data into company databases, systems, or spreadsheets. The role ensures correctness, completeness, and confidentiality of information while meeting daily productivity and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Input and update data into computer systems, databases, or software applications.
  • Verify accuracy of information before and after data entry.
  • Maintain organized records and files (electronic and/or physical).
  • Review and correct errors in data to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all information handled.
  • Meet daily/weekly targets for speed and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with team members or departments regarding missing or unclear information.
  • Generate simple reports or summaries from encoded data when required.
  • Perform other administrative or clerical tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, vocational course, or bachelor's degree (any field).
  • Proficient in typing and data entry with high accuracy.
  • Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel) or database software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Experience in clerical, administrative, or data entry roles is an advantage.

Work Environment:
  • Office-based or remote setup depending on company requirements.
  • Standard work hours, with possible overtime to meet deadlines.
