We are seeking an Accounting Staff to support the financial operations of a company in the construction and building industry. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily transactions, and ensuring compliance with government requirements. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute to a growing and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions, including AP/AR, journal entries, and vouchers.
  • Process billing, collections, and disbursements in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations, account schedules, and supporting financial documents.
  • Assist in monitoring project costs, expenses, and petty cash fund.
  • Ensure proper filing, safekeeping, and organization of financial documents and records.
  • Support the preparation and filing of BIR forms, government remittances, and other compliance requirements.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams for billing and payment-related matters.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related course.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in accounting.
  • Experience in filing BIR forms is required.
  • Background working in BIR (as an employee or intern) is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
