Job Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Staff to support the Accounting Department in handling day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting or finance, preferably with experience in the construction industry. This role will be responsible for assisting in bookkeeping, financial documentation, tax compliance, and supporting project cost monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

· Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions (AP/AR, journal entries, vouchers).

· Process billing, collections, and disbursements in a timely manner.

· Prepare bank reconciliations, account schedules, and supporting documents.

· Assist in monitoring project costs, expenses, and petty cash fund.

· Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of financial documents and records.

· Support in preparation of BIR forms, government remittances, and other compliance requirements.

· Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

· Provide support during audits and financial reviews.

· Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams for billing and payment-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • · Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.
  • · At least 2 years of accounting experience (construction industry experience is an advantage).
  • Knowledge in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and cost monitoring.
  • Familiarity with BIR compliance, tax filings, and government remittances.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with accounting software

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
