DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of product and process design and specifications, objectives, targets, quality standards, programs, systems, procedures, standard protocols, resource requirements, budget, activity schedules, manpower schedules aligned with customer requirements and plant objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with the plant's safety, quality and food safety management systems and other quality and productivity programs.

  • Conducts the following:

    • Laboratory analysis – raw materials, glass, utilities, etc.

    • Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

    • Bottle defect identification and evaluation

  • Conduct product and process evaluation, analysis, validation, verification and review to ensure compliance to established standards and drive continual improvement.

  • Provide timely and maintain accurate reports, data records, inventory, ERP transactions, job requests, requisitions and other communication relevant to the department's planned activities, requirements, outputs and performance.

  • Ensure good housekeeping and compliance to food safety, safety, health, and environment standards in all areas of responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a licensed Chemist

  • With problem solving and decision making skills (RCA, SPC, Technical evaluation, etc.)

  • With knowledge on Quality and Food Safety management systems including 5S, GMP, Visual Control, etc.

  • Willing to be assigned at Cabuyao City, Laguna.
