We're looking for a highly skilled OSP Field Engineering Manager who thrives on innovation, precision, and problem-solving. In this role, you'll oversee field operations and network design for fiber, copper, and coaxial systems—driving projects from planning to execution while making a lasting impact in the industry.

Job Summary

The OSP Field Engineer Manager is responsible for management of field walkouts ofOutside Plant (OSP) infrastructure for telecommunication networks. The incumbent will be responsible for the design of OSP networks, including fiber optic, copper, and coaxial cabling systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Ensuring field walkouts of OSP network infrastructure in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

● Determine optimal routing for OSP networks, considering factors such as existing infrastructure, terrain, and accessibility.

● Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure designs meet project

requirements and timelines.

● Participate in project planning meetings to understand project scope and objectives.

● Create project documentation, including design plans, cost estimates, and project schedules.

● Review and QC Make Ready in Katapult and perform PLA in O'Calc and Katapult.

● Identify potential design issues and propose solutions to ensure network reliability.

● Review and approve designs created by other designers and contractors.

● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and regulations related to OSP design.

Qualifications and Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in engineering, telecommunications, or related field.

● Understanding of NESC Standards and Make Ready Engineering.

● 4+ years of experience in OSP design, with a focus on fiber optic and copper networks.

● Able to be on feet for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.

● Proficient in 3GIS, AGOL, or other GIS based software.

● Proficient in Katapult, O'calc

● Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to OSP design and Make Ready Engineering.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php78,000.00 per month
